I vividly remember one particular book from my childhood reading life: The Monster at the End of this Book by Jon Stone. It’s highly immersive, interactive nature set the foundation for all books to come in my reading life, especially picture books.

But I realized that I do not celebrate the picture books I read on my reading log nearly enough. So, I’m doing just that inside this episode. By the way, if you want my reading log, you can grab it for FREE here.

Today, I’m sharing three picture books that have big, adult lessons. These books encourage us to broaden who we are in the world, know that we are enough just the way we are and even give us a needed mindset shift.

Click on the video to watch or head to your favorite podcast platform to listen instead (It’s called Get Lit(erate) with Stephanie Affinito), but whatever you do, DON’T SCROLL TOO FAR because I’m listing the books mentioned below. =)

Here are the books mentioned in this episode. Just click on each one to purchase from my Amazon or Bookshop affiliate stores. Thanks for your bookish support!

The Circles All Around Us by Brad Montague (Amazon, Bookshop)

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy (Amazon, Bookshop)

Ten Beautiful Things by Molly Beth Griffin (Amazon, Bookshop)

Now, it’s your turn . What picture books do YOU recommend every adult adds to their TBR stack?
