I am continually curious and am constantly seeking out new ideas, perspectives, words and concepts. So when I first heard about The Timeline Theory, I was intrigued.
I just love the idea that there are thousands of parallel versions of ourselves based on the decisions we make each day: the version who gets enough sleep versus the version that does not or the version that took the risk and the version that stayed small.
Time is finite. And once we realize that, we begin to make choices that make the most of it to become the best version of ourselves we can find.
But, what if we could bend time? What if we could go back? Shift forward? Peek into someone else’s life? We’d gain a new perspective that could potentially alter the course we chart for our futures.
Whew.
Today, I’m sharing three books that bend time….and hearts. Each of these books alters time in some way: by going back, by imagining a new future and by hopping into another time and place. But these books do more than bend time…they bend our hearts, too. It’s nearly impossible NOT to reflect on how we might bend time ourselves if we could and that gives us all the feels.
You don’t want to miss these books.
