Summer reading season is here!
Today, I’m talking with Christie Zimmer on the power of journaling to make our lives better….especially our reading lives.
We’ve collaborated together to create a colorful printable to help us reflect on our rules for reading, where they came from and what they mean, if they serve us or not and how we want to harness their power in the future. Here it is:
But the best part? While this might begin with a discussion about the rules in our reading life, it’s the perfect prompt to think about other rules in our lives and if they serve us in this season. It’s coaching for your reading life AND your actual life, too.
You can download a printable version of this journal page here!
After you do, we’d love to hear from you! What are your personal reading rules and what have you decided to do about them?
Plus…I’d love for you to join me for my Summer Reading Launch Party on June 17th at 10am EST. Sign up here and the Zoom link will be sent right to your Inbox!

Fabulous show. I’ve always been wary of journalling. It seems so….difficult and rule bound and stuffy. But listening to this episode made me want to run right out and buy a notebook that I could keep pages in! Thank you so much for discussing book rules we keep and those we should break. It will be an interesting exercise to complete – especially as an author!!

Oh, no rules here! I cannot wait to voice message about your reading and writing rules. =) I have a craft binder that I keep my pages in so they stay safe and can be moved around in any order, but I’ve seen others tuck them into their journal pages, too!
