It’s time to gear up for summer reading season!
Everywhere I look, I’m seeing summer reading lists, checklists and challenges and I typically DON’T enjoy them because they don’t always connect to the kind of reading life I want to have.
So, I decided to create a summer reading challenge that I CAN get behind because it’s the kind of reading that will help us create the kind of summer we want to have.
Today, I’m talking all about my Get Lit(erate). Summer Reading Challenge to help you BE, FEEL and DO all that you hope for this summer….with a few notebooking ideas, too. Scroll down to get the template!
Here are the books mentioned in this episode. You’ll find links to my Amazon and Bookshop affiliate stores below. Thanks for your bookish support!
The Summer We Started Over by Nancy Thayer (Amazon / Bookshop)
Sandwich by Catherine Newman (Amazon / Bookshop)
Love & Saffron by Kim Fay (Amazon / Bookshop)
Recipe for a Charmed Life by Rachel Linden (Amazon / Bookshop)
The Summer Cottage by Viola Shipman (Amazon / Bookshop)
Blush by Jamie Brenner (Amazon / Bookshop)
Now, it’s your turn!
I’d love to know the books you hope to read this summer and the notebooking ideas you have, too.
Please share your thoughts and book recommendations in the comments!
P.S: Here’s the template I mentioned. Right-click to save and print or click the image so you can edit it in Canva to add your digital book cover images. Happy reading!

My summer reading challenge is Feisty Deeds, and then find something else to read about at least 6 of the women in the book.
BE — curious
FEEL — inspired
DO — inspirational things!

I love everything about your plans, especially CURIOUS. Feisty Deeds was a gateway book…so many new authors to explore now!

Currently, I’m obsessed with all things about being a reader! I’m reading more than ever before. I have found several good reading podcasts (yours being one of them) to listen to and get inspiration and recommendations. I have started a reading journal to document my journey through books. I’m setting personal reading goals this summer and participating in a couple of challenges (again, yours is one of them). So, my goals are to:
BE – a reader
FEEL – triumphant
DO – have fun
